ALL MOTORSPORT VEHICLES FOR ALL EVENTS MUST COMPLETE TECH BY 8:30AM ON JULY 7th. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. NO TECH, NO RACE.

For the purposes of maximizing participant safety, every car should pass a technical inspection. A full & complete safety inspection should be performed on each car & driver entered. A technical inspection sheet should be filled out for each car & driver entered. A technical inspection sheet may be obtained at the tech station at the event. Additionally, all drivers (and passengers) must wear proper personal safety clothing.

If you bring your own safety helmet, it must be approved by Snell in the current or two most recent ratings (i.e. if Snell 2000 is currently in production then 2000, 95, & 90 are legal). DUBWARS will
NOT rent loaner helmets to people who do not have one.

All entered vehicles must be in good condition & appearance. Excessive body damage, primered body panels, etc., are not allowed. The mechanical condition of the vehicle must always meet these technical requirements, & shall not pose a hazard. The vehicle may be inspected for violations at any time while at the event. The vehicle must meet the "50/50" rule, which means they must look undamaged & straight at fifty (50) mph from fifty (50) feet.

All lug nuts must be present & tightly hold the wheel & tire assembly to the car's hub. Excessive weather cracks or visible cord/plies will fail inspection. Tire pressures should be higher than used for the street, usually 45psi-Front/35psi-Rear for a front-wheel-drive car, or 40psi all around for a rear-wheel-drive car.

All vehicles should utilize gasoline caps such that the gasoline will not spill out of the fuel tank under hard driving.

They must not protrude dangerously from the car, & they must be accessible without manipulation of the bodywork and/or panels. They should be strong enough to support the weight of the car. If no tow eyes are available, the towing crew will hook onto other things that may cause damage to the driver's car. Again, tow eyes are STRONGLY recommended.
