JD have been flooding the night scene at top LA/Hollywood/OC night clubs, and now bring it to you live at this years DUBWARS 2007.
Dj's kewlwhip and jd are no rooks to the auto scene as they too, are avid motor enthusiasts as well as notable dj's representing HardBeat Entertainment. If you were present to the first few DUBWARS events, you would note their music notes from the 1st 2 shows that originated. With this years 2007 show they return with a "punch" with the 2 turntables. Look to hear beats that will make you groove, dance, vibe and bounce to throughout the
weekend of July

DJ kewlwhip was born in Honolulu, HI. He currently resides in Long Beach, CA and has been rep'n' SoCal since he was eight. He picked up Djing in 1996, when "real" hip-hop music was abundant and was inspired by the lyrics and beats of the time.
Put any record in front of him and he can handle it, from mainstream top 40 to bass-pounding, underground hip-hop. His genres of choice are Jazz, underground Hip-Hop, and R&B, and his heavy rotations are Beat Junkie beats, Madlib-Quas, Jay Dilla (R.I.P), Slum Village, MED, Stones Throw, Dj Premiere, Kanye W beats, Star Trak beats, NAS, q-bert, and anyone else who keeps it real and can get dat azz on the floor, groov'n' or breakdancin'!
DJ kewlwhip has played with artists such as Marcus, from Sublime (Long Beach), Butcha Shop Click MC's (Long Beach), and Self taught DJ. He thanks Jrocc from the Beat Junkies and all of his friend DJs for the skills he's picked up over the years.

Coming out of Los Angeles, California, DJ JD has hit the nightclub scene in 21-and-over nightclubs since 1995. His mixes are usually composed of Hip-Hop, R&B, Dance, Old School, Reggae, and Flashbacks, however, you’ll never know when he decides to sneak some other elements into his play list. His dynamic style has always been a crowd favorite. The clubbers love him and the party doesn’t stop until his records stop spinning.
Anyone who knows DJ JD, knows he has a passion for vinyl. With over 10 years of DJ experience, he has developed a true talent for turning a playlist into a musical journey. Some of his influences consist of Little Louie Vega, Mix Master Mike, DJ Premier, and Jam Master Jay. He has also expanded by opening for artists such as Notorious B.I.G, DJ Quik, Cypress Hill, India, and The Luniz.
